It isn't unusual for me to be composing an imaginary blog in my mind after reading or hearing an inspirational (to me) bit of prose or conversation. Things get twigged in my memory and the thoughts just begin to form themselves as "my work". Other times, it simmers under the surface and suddenly ruptures as a ready made article.
Seeing a co-workers blog, who happens to be middle aged like me, cemented the idea that perhaps I should try blogging if for no other reason, than to satisfy the prolific author that is my brain. Whether it is of interest to others is redundant at this point. It is a long standing idea that I've finally decided to act upon. If you can relate to any of my sparks of inspiration or experience, I would be delighted to hear from you. I have no theme, no grand designs. It will be what it will be at that particular moment in time. From sudden sparks of ideas to slow burning embers of inspiration, it will be a constant surprise to us both.
